Michelle is a practicing advocate and former Public Prosecutor with extensive experience in litigation, both criminal and civil.
She has been an Advocate at the Johannesburg Bar for more than 20 years, and has established a mostly civil High Court litigation practice.
A high percentage of her practice consists of urgent applications.
She is experienced in, inter alia, family law, international child abduction, urgent applications relating to children, commercial matters, matrimonial matters, contractual matters, company law and property law, including drafting of agreements (including shareholders and association agreements) and contract law.
Michelle regularly acts as curatrix ad litem for minor children and persons who are incapable of representing themselves in Court (i.e. claims against the Road Accident Fund).
